Prof. Anna Młynarska-Sobaczewska is the Head of Department of Constitutional Law and European Research at the Institute of Law Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences. She has been working in the field of constitutional law since 1999. Her research interest focus on theory of constitutional law, constitutionalism and human rights. During the Chambers of Commerce – 3rd International Conference, which will take place on 14-15 November in Warsaw, she will present with Prof. Aleksandra Mężykowska (ILS PAS, Poland) a study entitled: “Chambers of Commerce and War; their functions in the process of reporting and compensating damage suffered in connection with the aggression of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine.“.

In their presentation, they will focus on the regulations concerning chambers of commerce in Poland and on an extremely fascinating, important and, above all, little-known issue – the register of losses incurred in connection with war. They will try to answer the question of what companies can do to obtain compensation for losses incurred as a result of war in Ukraine?
