At the end of September 2026, Piotr Marciniak, PhD visited Ludovika University of Public Service in Budapest, Hungary and delivered lectures to a few groups of Master’s students on Chambers of Commerce, focusing on their institutional position, models of representation, evolution, and possible public functions.

The discussions offered an excellent opportunity to reflect on the changing role of chambers as institutions connecting business, public administration and society, and on their different construction and approaches to their representativeness and public responsibilities across countries. The lectures were based on research of chambers of commerce worldwide conducted at Institute of Law Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences for several years.

Many thanks to the Vice Dean for International Affairs, Professor éter Krisztián Zachar and Ludovika University for the invitation and for the stimulating exchange with the students. Sharing ideas about #B2A institutional discussion processes will contribute to the education and decision-making of future professionals in public administration, the armed forces and other uniformed services.

The study visit was made possible thanks to a grant from the Polska Akademia Nauk.
