“The review of acts and statutory regulations in selected countries shows that, as a rule, there are no formal regulations ensuring parity in the representation of enterprise-size classes in the bodies of chambers. However, several examples of regulations were found in the statutes of individual chambers of both models, though they were not standarized in any country. Discussions with chamber members and researchers indicate that informal customs exist in some cases, but these practices are not codified.”
