On 10.04.2025, at the headquarters of the Łódź Chamber of Industry and Commerce (ŁIPH), we took part in a discussion on chambers of commerce. Piotr Marciniak and Tomasz Dorożyński discussed:

  • the mission of business environment organizations (hashtag #OOB) in the economy;
  • models of chambers of commerce in the world;
  • the OOB ecosystem and conclusions from the latest research on chambers of commerce in Poland.

The discussion with the members of ŁIPH (one of the biggest regional chambers in Poland) was dynamic and, as a result, our meeting lasted twice as long as planned. 😁

Such conversations are extremely necessary, because along with the dynamically changing world and business – chambers must also evolve. However, some changes must be systemic in nature. This requires a broad social background and a substantive understanding of challenges such as institutional efficiency and representativeness for all entrepreneurs.

Our Chambers of Commerce International Research Group brings together an interdisciplinary, international group of specialists. We invite chambers and their associations to cooperate on similar discussions.
