This institute is a non-profit, politically independent research and public policy organization, that conducts research, analysis, and evaluation of public policy. The objective is to enhance the long-term ability of businesses to formulate policies based on research and societal interests. The issues addressed are relevant to the business sector, grounded in the perspectives of business stakeholders, and are significant for the functioning of the economy. The objective is to provide well-founded and research-based materials that are highly relevant for decision-making, generating options, and policy formulation. The Scandinavian Policy Institute has three focus areas of activities: 1) self-sufficiency of population, 2) industrial policy and 3) better regulations and competitiveness.
